This is the temporary website of Tee.
Tee grew up in San Francisco. She has since lived in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK,
Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, and Australia. She currently resides in
Wellington, New Zealand — a city that feels like the San Francisco of the
bottom of the world.
Professionally, she is a designer — 12 years in, across product, brand, web, motion, and
3D — and has done work for Figma, Brex, Pitch,
Linktree, Adidas, Kelly Slater, the European Union, the National Park Service,
and others. She calls herself a generalist, which is a polite way of saying she gets bored
easily and has made a career out of it.
In between chapters, she has taught English, painted set designs, delivered plants by bike,
engaged in earthquake relief efforts, cared for a 17th-century Jacobean manor, hitchhiked
across Europe and Asia, and started a food truck despite being a bad cook. She maintains
all of these were good ideas at the time.
Outside of work, she is teaching herself bass and piano simultaneously.
She is a devoted fan of shoegaze and Morbier cheese — ideally both at once.
She hopes to launch a proper website soon. She has been saying this for a few years now.
